Luxury Hotel Renovation

Context

As part of the strategic repositioning of the Hôtel du Parc Bougival under the Hilton brand and its DoubleTree label, Korus Group was appointed as the general contractor.

This three-phase renovation of the main building (dating from the 1970s) required a specific process due to the presence of asbestos on site.

Our work

For this large-scale project in an occupied site, our teams handled:

  • Renovation of the 181 rooms in the main building, including bathrooms and corridors. This involved creating a new interior design, including gutting, interior carpentry, suspended ceilings, carpeting, painting, partitions, equipment, as well as plumbing.
  • Renovation of the reception area, which included demolishing the old layout to install an aluminum-clad canopy, equipped with an accessible ramp for persons with reduced mobility (PRM). We also removed integrated elements before demolition. Responsible for various tasks (cladding, metalwork, flooring, painting, structural work, and external works), the work notably included repairing the roof coverings, creating guardrails and exterior handrails, cladding the underside of the awning with a metal ceiling, and laying outdoor tiles for a modern and functional finish.
  • Replacement of the fire safety and air conditioning systems.
